About the Authors

Eyal Rav-Noy
Eyal Rav-Noy is director of JLA (Jewish Learning Academy) where he has developed an array of classes on topics related to Judaism, specifically courses on the Bible, Biblical Criticism, and Biblical Archeology. He has lectured all over the U.S. on the intellectual shortcomings of these scholarly fields. A native of Israel who has studied at various rabbinical seminaries, Rav-Noy makes his home in Los Angeles. When he is not working or spending time with his family, Eyal enjoys running marathons and playing guitar.

Gil Weinreich
Gil Weinreich is the veteran editor of a leading financial trade magazine, and engages in regular, daily learning of Torah, Talmud and Jewish law. He authored a pathbreaking column on ethics for financial service professionals that was lauded in the industry. Formerly an award-winning international news reporter at Voice of America, Weinreich earned his B.A. in political science at U.C. Berkeley and his M.A. in international affairs at American University in Washington, D.C. He lives in Los Angeles.
